The project "Influence of traffic on air pollution within the TEN-T route Ústí nad Labem - Mělník - Zdiby" - TENT AIR for short - was created thanks to the provision of funds from the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic, within the Program supported by the Financial Mechanism of Norway 2014-2021.

 

The project is focused on measuring air cleanliness along the route of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) - Eastern and Eastern Mediterranean Corridor in the section of the state border of Germany - Ústí nad Labem - Mělník - Zdiby. This section is loaded in terms of road, rail and water transport.
 

The goal of the project is to verify the share of pollution caused by transport and to establish concrete measures to improve air cleanliness using action plans of partner cities and municipalities.

Project objectives

​

1. Implement automated mobile air measurement, sampling campaigns using samplers in 14 locations along the TEN-T transport network in Ústí nad Labem, Mělník and Zdiby.
   ​

2. Analyze measured data and model pollution sources.​
    

3. To realize the visit of the Norwegian partner Norsk Energi in the Czech Republic connected with his presentation at the final conference of the project.
    

4. Create, discuss and approve action plans to mitigate air pollution sources for Ústí nad Labem, Mělník and Zdiby.​
    

5. Propose at least 15 measures to improve air cleanliness.
